I have had a FD current a/c and cc for approx 13months, I don't use the current a/c that much just the odd Bill Payment and wages arent paid into it. I use the cc probably 3/7 days per week, and usually settle the bill at the end of the month. As I wasn't been offered an credit limit increase, i decided I would apply online and asked for a further £500, which was refused, as I had insufficient credits into my current a/c.
I don't understand what that has to do with my cc limit increase request
Perhaps, they would prefer me to not pay my cc bill monthly so they can charge me interest?
Anybody expirence simiar with FD?
Thanks

Hey,
Im a FD customer and had a huge battle to get them to increase my limit for a month. I needed to order stuff for work but the purchase order expired that day and my limit wasnt high enough.
They basically said they look (in detail) at what your current financial situation is, how much credit you have, how much your paid etc. and see what is an acceptable level.
They say this is as they are a responsible lender. If you think their decision is wrong why not give them a bell? I've always found them really helpfulSave a life. Learn emergency first aid.
Who knows what might happen tomorrow or who may need help.
Contact your local college or first aid provider to enquire about free courses in your area.
Already a first aider? Have you updated your first aid to the new 2005 guidelines? Most providers should now be training the new (and more effective) CPR protocols, see if they are offering refresher courses near you.0
