Im looking to get myself a new or second hand digital camera, I have around £30-£50 to spend on one. Mainly just to use to sell things on eBay and taking pictures at raves. So not too bothered on extra features as long as it has a decent picture and that.
Was looking for atleast:-
4million mega pixel
Optical zoom 3x or more
display size 1.5 or more
Anyone know any decent ones like this and where i can get one? I would be very grateful
Thanks in advance.

Superdrug have the vivitar vivicam 4345 for £49.99
It has all the specifications that you have mentioned above.
I have the vivitar 5340 and it is a boss little camera for the price.
Oh and if you go on the superdrug website there is a 5% discount vouchers which takes the camera down to £450 -
What would you reccomend as minimum requirements for a diital camera. May be able to go a little more expensive.. any help is great.0

Your specs are reasonable when it comes to a basic camera 3x optical zoom is a minimum and unless your prepared to spend alot more your not going to get a much bigger zoom may be 3.2 or 4 at a push.
4mp, is fine for reasonable prints up to A4 Ive done one on A0 from a 4MP and it looks ok from about 1 metre just dont get too close. not that anyone prints digital photos they are taken to stick on the pc.
screen size is a personal preference, I have an electronic viewfinder in my camera so it displays the image as on the screen so I use the viewfinder alot as it reduces bluring but it has a 1.8" screen and its ok, some of the huge screens now take the whole back of the camera its mad.
Check out http://www.dpreview.com/ the advice is good and has real user comments, make use of the highstreet go to Jessops take in their knowledge get a feel for the camera if you have big hands you dont want somthing that will disapear in them and feel tiny. then take time to think about it you can also get an ide on the prices. go home check out dpreview see what peoplesay about the cameras you liked and make a desision you can also use https://www.kelkoo.co.uk or another shopbot to find the best price for you online.
My preference is to buy a camera from a company that makes cameras, canon, olympus, nikon and have made cameras for a long time some of the other companies like panasonic and sony make nice cameras too.0 -

Hiya,
I would highly reccommend going into https://www.fuji.co.uk who sell their own refurbished cameras (in most cases these are brand new) with a 6 months guarantee. There is a link in a bottom right hand corner once you've gone onto their www.
I've bought couple of cameras from there - they even sell refurbished cards at great value.
I've always had Fuji cameras as I think they are brilliant. It's best to regret things you have done rather than those you have not...0
