Can anyone answer this pls?
We're taking my mum to Jersey for a few days in a couple of weeks. My mum and I are both disabled, in that we can't walk far.
On the East Midlands website it says
But it doesn't say what the appropriate rate is, nor what happens if those spaces are full.
Obv I can ring them, but I thought I'd ask here first, to see if I could avoid being "on hold" for half an hour.

Parking for Disabled Customers
Dedicated parking spaces are available within our short stay car park to blue badge holders for any duration of stay. To ensure you are charged the appropriate rate for your stay, when ready for exit, please take your car park ticket to the car park office opposite the arrivals hall to pay together with your blue badge.

I try not to get too stressed out on the forum. I won't argue, i'll just leave a thread if you don't like what I say.

The appropriate rate is the amount for the car park that you booked for, car park 7 is the cheapest if you pre book normally because its the furthest from the airport although you may find it cheaper to pre book via somewhere other than the main website.
Not sure on what you do if the disabled spaces are full though0 -
Do they run a bus service round the airport you could use? I know the one at Bristol takes wheelchairs.Signature removed for peace of mind0

If you went through the application online to park you would get the price before you 'click' to buy.
Both the on and off site car parks are pretty good and the buses to transport to airport run frequently(have used several although no disability). The other option would be to have a 'Meet and greet' service where you drive your vehicle to the terminal and hand your car over to someone to go and park for you and your car is back at the Terminal when you return-obviously this service will cost you extra(around £80 per week) but may be worth it depending on disability.0
