You get a standard 12month warrenty from Sky where any repairs are free, after that it's a £69 call out charge unless you have a protection plan.0
-
If you talk nicely to the Sky people, under the circumstances you could get a free call out.
I have done this twice.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -

can anyone help?
Our television is 2 weeks old our sky+ hd box is just over 1 year old. About twice per day the picture and sound go of and we get a messageon screen saying no "no signal" this happens for about 15 seconds. The colour on the screen when this occurs is grey"snow" Is there a way of checking the sky box?? As i doubt it ie the tv and i have checked that all connections are tight I look forward to your helpBREXIT OOPS0 -

That'll be the HDMI handshaking going out of sync if you've connected the HD box to the TV with a HDMI cable. It is most likely a fault in the TV, not the Sky box.0 -

Yup,if you were to get a 'no signal' message on the Sky,it'd be a EPG style banner on a blue screen with the message 'No satallite signal is being recieved.'0 -
So if it is the tv/hdmi connection at fault a replacement tv??BREXIT OOPS0

Could be just the cable that's dodgy.0
