we are now looking into buying a house ,we havent gone ny further than deciding to do this
my partner has about 20 thousand a year i stay at home with children so have no incoming wage
the only problem would be that we dont have a very good credit history,so not sure whos best available to go with
any advice would be great

Try talking to a broker, I used London and country who are free and independant whole of market. A broker will be able to work out your situation and find an appropriate lender for you.
