husband has a credit card bill of about £1400 due to a trip to the World cup.I got him a nice 0 % deal with capital one and stressed to him that he MUST NOT put any purchases on it, as he'd get interest on them....I even put the card away so he wouldn't use it...so what does he do? Couldn't find his wallet the other day…

hi mintymoneysaver, how frustrating for you!!! Could you quietly roll the whole amount over onto another 0% card and then close capital one? ... and bury the new card in the back garden (or quietly cut it up)
