If I pay for a ticket for a music event and the main act does not appear but they replace them with someone else, am I legally entitled to a full refund?
many thanks in advance for your help.

You wanting out of your Glastonbury tickets then ?
I expect there will be clauses saying that this can be done, expecially if it is one artist out of over a hundred that are playing - do you have a link to the website that you bought the ticket from ?0 -
If you are talking about a festival, then no, you can't claim your money back as the tickets are for the entire festival experience; not a particular, individual act. Someone will pull out of every festival; sometimes this will be a headline act.
If, on, the other hand you are talking about an actual gig specifically for a band, then yes, you can get a refund. This will be a very rare occurrence, however, as if a band is unable to play a gig they'll either cancel it (thus triggering refunds), or reschedule it (tickets will be valid for the later date, or you will be able to claim a refund).
In anycase, didn't Glastonbury tickets not only go on sale, and were completely sold out, before Mr Eavis even confirmed a single act was playing?Regards,
