  • these were still available at local store yesterday at £14.99 plus the £10 patio brush was also there
They've got cars big as bars
    They've got rivers of gold
But the wind goes right through you
It's no place for the old
  • Went to Woolies in Bangor (Wales) today only to find an empty shelf above the label for these pressure washers - advertised at £14.99.

Asked an assistant if any were left only to be told 'not if the shelf is empty'.

Decided to gamble and took the label to the till and asked them to scan it to see if they had any left in stock. Bingo! 4 left in stock - though it did take the girl nearly 15 minutes to find one. Was I popular.

Moral of the story - don't always take an empty shelf as an indication of nil stock.

If I was being cynical I'd say some of the staff had put them away for themselves.
  • In Woolies Ruislip today they have loads of the power washers at 14.99 and lots of the patio cleaners at 9.99 haven't tried getting the patio cleaners free yet but I will tomorrow !

Both of these were still available at Tamworth (town centre store) today (sunday 10th) at £14.99 plus the £10 patio brush was also in stock too.
  • I haven't been able to get one of these at all. :(

Does anyone have a spare or know of any manchester area stores that have any stock in.
It's BOUGHT (to Buy), not BROUGHT (to bring) AND you cannot be frauded, only DEfrauded.

Please do not buy animals from a pet store. Visit your local sanctuary or centre and give a good home to an unloved or abandoned animal.
  • Hi all,

This is a very good price but is the washer any good? Whats the pressure and usage like, any good for a dirty patio?

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Cheers

Is it legal to clean kids with a powerwasher :j

No, but it will take the skin off your fingers if you put them close to the nozzle  .

Accidentally drilled a perfect 7mm circular hole to the bone in the end of my thumb with a pressure washer. Less than a seconds contact with the jet. Took almost 6 months to heal and get proper feeling back. Felt like I had a large splinter in there.

    NOT recommended.
