Driver detective?

I used driver guide then driver detective to look for out of date drivers on my laptop. Driver guide found 3 but wants me to buy the program before going any further. Driver detective is one I haven't used before and am not sure about using this to update my drivers.
I also went into the device manager to update the drivers manually but windows said they were upto date even when the programs said otherwise.
My laptop keeps crashing for no reason when ever I'm on the web. It shuts down and reboots. Can't figure out why but I have ran all sorts of programs from Malware to driver mechanic and Avast.
Any Ideas!

If you want hardware drivers, get them from the manufacturers website (I doubt for one minute your system crashes/reboots are because of drivers though).Remember kids, it's the volts that jolt and the mills that kill.0

They are both awful programs that will maybe identify your hardware correctly and perhaps find the correct driver or perhaps not. After which your hardware may or may not work at all, why are you running such garbage on your machine? suggest you uninstalll immediately and hope you've not done too much damage.0

Give Microsoft Fix it Center a try.0

If it's a Laptop, go to the Laptop manufacturers site.
They will all be free to download, don't throw money away on worthless software.
Post the make/model of the laptop0
