Travel Republic have upped my hotel room by £10

I have been looking online for a bargain 2 night hotel in Spain and found 1 with good reviews.

Cheapest was Travel Republic.


Booked it online last night and paid by visa debit.


Just received a call from Travel Republic to say their original supplier has no rooms left and their 2nd supplier is more expensive so they want to know do I still want the hotel room at the higher price (£10 more).


Can they do this?

They are still cheaper even if I pay the extra £10 than others online.

After reading the email I received I have realised that the booking I have made gives Travel Republic 12 hours to actually say yes to my booking.

So, they can do it.

It is important that you understand that payment at the time you are making your booking does not in itself mean that your booking is confirmed.

If you don't want to pay the new price, they will give you a full refund.

It's still the best price (have looked absolutely everywhere) even if they add the £10 onto it so will accept it - grumble grumble lol
