The inertia cut off in this car is probably controlled by the ECU rather than a switch under the bonnet.

Safety fuel cut off sounds likely....

You could try if you haven't already, disconnecting the battery for 24 hours or so. This might reset the ECU?

    Google told me this
Were is the fuel shut of valve on a Citroen Picasso. Open the bonet and look on the left hand side on the top corner, there is a red push button switch. that is the fuel cutoff switch.

    Hope you get it sorted.

    Hi Guys

thanks for replies. sorry not been on for few days. ManicMum being manic as usual. Will show hubby replies tonight. He said problem is that engine is turning over (so correction there) but not starting as fuel pump not pumping fuel. He says he knows this and garage confirmed it too. Garage had it all wired up to diagnostic machines and said getting bad readings from fuse box, which was making 'clicky noises'. They thought might be water in there. Why? God knows. replaced that and clicky noises gone but car still not working. Garage now downloading some technical data and talking about contacting Bosch to get some facility which will enable them to link the car via computer to Citroen in France!! Sounds expensive.

Husband has faith in them but it's costing me £40 plus VAT an hour and what if they haven't the foggiest? Just don't know what to do.

Will show him suggestions and might get him to post on here. Thanks loads. really appreciate it.
