So what are people's legal rights against the muppet when he manages to misadvise them and vastly slow down the progress in complaints due to his manner and lack of knowledge?
Customer just got offered there top of the range kitchen for 3k and he made them turn it down as the conditions where he wasnt involved :rotfl:

Basically some old woman got sold a kitchen for 6k on credit agreement for 4k. Family got involved and were not happy.
Kitchen company wouldnt back down.
Eventually they offered the kitchen at a baragain price of 3k and with no credit agreement - i.e what the woman wanted much cheaper on the condition dom !!!!ed off.
He pursuaded her this wasnt a good idea and instead got the credit agreement cancelled and a cash settlement of 2k therefore leaving her out of pocket.
Have watched it a few times and each and every time the smarmy bald **** talks a load of crap and generally hinders peoples statutory rights rather than helps enforce them.0 -
You have to ask the question, why did they want Dom out of the picture?
they knew that if the customer told Dom to do one he would be very unlikely to come back again if they let the customer down, failed to honour the agreement or fobbed them off with a cheaper, low quality kitchen.
The Condition that Dom was not involved just made the whole offer look as though it was being made in very bad faith in my view and therefore the advice not to accept was probably the right advice......."A wise man once told me don't argue with fools because people from a distance can't tell who is who"........0 -

Somehow your vehement comments about Dom make me wonder just what you were up to that he disclosed and messed up for you:D
I really agree with toffe that the moment a company wants Dom out of the picture it is probably because they want to try another crafty trick because if they really were there to do the right thing they would enjoy the publicity for doing so;)"there are some persons in this World who, unable to give better proof of being wise, take a strange delight in showing what they think they have sagaciously read in mankind by uncharitable suspicions of them"(Herman Melville)0 -

Dom DIDN'T persuade her! He told her the offer Space Kitchens (or Space Cowboys take your pick!) made and asked them if they wanted to accept. They choose not to! Frankly, given the appalling state they left her kitchen in, i'm not surprised. They mugged that poor woman with cerabal palsey!
I do agree that Dom however did give some duff advice. Given the numerous faults with the kitchen (exposed live wires, dreadful plastering, miss aligned door etc) she should have been advised to issued proceedings against the company and give the judge the photos. She would have got all her money back.
So there you have it, Space Kitchens apparently are rubbish and cowboys! Perhaps that is the real reason that they didn't want there name mentioned? It's not really the image they want you to buy into............0 -

The original price of the kitchen was £5k which was 'converted' to £10 via a credit agreement (that the woman couldn't remember signing / being discussed as she had the cash in her bank). I can't understand if you watched it 'a number of times' you failed to remember this. I watched it once.

See this thread about Space Kitchens, it is long and I did not read it all, but I think you will get the gist. The last 2 posts relate to Dom's prog.Don`t steal - the Government doesn`t like the competition0 -

OP seems confused"Very funny, Scotty. Now beam down my clothes."
All truth goes through three stages. First, it is ridiculed. Then, it is violently opposed. Finally, it is accepted as self-evident.0 -
