Hi All
Perhaps you can help, the sun canopy on my Mums swingseat has ripped and we can't find anywhere to get it replaced. We've tried all the local garden centers but no joy.
Thanks in advance
Steve

We've got a tubular metal swingseat with a green canopy that that is deteriorating. Got a couple of small holes due to mechanical damage in high winds and edge seams unravelling. I've got many other things to do at the moment so it's low on my list of things to do and haven't actually explored solutions but have a number of ideas for when I get around to doing it including:
patching it up to hold the damage using duck tape and/or some sort of patching kit
going to a local supplier of caravans/awnings/tents to see if they have repair kits or know of a local supplier/repairer.
going to a local supplier of custom made tarpaulins/covers to see if they could make one. This might seem like an odd choice but I needed travel covers for some Public Address speakers and a local tapaulin firm custom made them for me at a very reasonable price.
going to a curtain maker store to see if they can stitch a patch with matched material.
just a few ideas. think out of the boxAwaiting a new sig0
