Weds 2nd June What Small DFW Things Have you Done Today?

When we start out on the DFW trail we do loads of "big stuff" that makes quite a difference to our situation. These include having our lightbulb moment, cutting up the credit cards and cancelling Sky and the gym.
But once we have done the bigger stuff, we often feel that we are not making the same amount of progress, when in fact the small steps are helping us form good financial habits and helping us get closer everyday to staying in control and becoming debt free, or staying debt free
Examples could be charging your phone up at work instead of at home to save your electricity, hanging washing out instead of using the tumble dryer or leaving your purse/wallet at home to avoid the risk of spending.
So be proud of those small steps, they really are important :T

Littelkel - it only gets worse from here on, you're going to worry about your daughter for a lifetime more :rotfl: (Mines 23 )
As for me on this cold but sunny day in Africa I'm going to:
do a big shop to cover the household for a week while I'm away, and for the 2 following weeks away when Popeye joins me in the UK and the decorators and the maid will be making the house nice
but will still need feeding
Carry on re-knitting the shrug for DIL (I've unpicked my work TWICE  but this time I have the right sized needles and a pattern that suits the wool better.) Can I recommend Ravelry for free knitting patterns and on-line help??
Continue doing my keep fit DVD to save on gym, I'm hankering after one of those power plates - only £800!! But I'm seeing results on doing the DVD and that inspires me to continue.
I have to make something for a bring and share lunch that the ex-pat wives have organised for tomorrow. Surprisingly good fun for a standoffish cow like me
Do an on-line shop for when I arrive in the UK on Friday - using any vouchers I can get.
Continue to eat the failed carrot cake I made. Waste not Want not.
Have a great day everybody :A0 -

:) - no idea if any of you have an iphone, but I know Elfen introduced me to Onepoll (and anyone else on here) - I've just download the iphone app as per Martins weekly email and just done 5 surveys - ranged between 50p and upto £1.50 for a couple of them - didn't take long (5 mins?) to push my balance up by about £4.65
If anyone does have an iphone - its worth getting onto onepoll but I'm usre most folks are ahead of me (I'm not the fastest to look at the newsletter!) - I suppose the one poll rates will drop (?) but for the mo its worth a look............Total debt 26/4/18 <£1925 we were getting there.
