diagnostics policy services

hi my laptop done automatic updates the other day and now cannot connect to the network asking me to switch on diagnostics policy services, after googling and trying everything i gave in and done a system restore for a week before all the problems started,but i still have the same problems and can only use the laptop in safe mode i cannot do system restore again as there are no restore points now, the laptop in normal mode wont let me open services.msc,tools,cmd nothing ive tried to repair etc from f8 and its still not doing anything has anyone any ideas on what i can try next......im not very computer savvy so please bare with me

Have you done a malware check, as described in the sticky at the top of the Tech forum section?

Many types of malware work by intercepting the networking component of Windows, and if that part of the virus breaks, network access stops.

hi yes i done the malware check it came back normal now it won't do anything tho

sorry - do you mean malwarebytes won't do anything now?
i.e. it doesn't open now?

Was it Malwarebytes that you used or something else?

If it was Malwarebytes can you post the Malwarebytes log file (just copy & paste it in your next message).

To find your Malwarebytes log file just open Malwarebytes and click on Logs tab and find the last log.

hi yes it was the malware bytes and spybot scan it all came back normal i can't post anything now as i need to sort out the diagnostics thing that its asking me to do but it won't let me open the tools or anything else to do this
