Vending machine stealing money

I tried to buy a coffee from a vending machine.
Vending machine stole my money. No coffee. :mad:
Went to speak to security guard.
He says machine was doing the same thing last week, but he can't help because machine is run by a company...company not contactable as it was in evening outside office hours.
What are my rights to get money back?

You should make a note warning people to stay away from the evil machine!

It was an entire £1 :rotfl:...and the principle - most people won't chase it up so they probably make lots from disappointed people feeding the machine. and I was upset not to get my drink- machine does very good hot chocolate.

But yes I found someone to contact about it and they have said they'll refund me, although not sure of the logistics to get the money back as I won't be in the building during the day.
