Ok! I probably havent saved anything yet as I have only been on these sites for a couple of weeks. But things I have done so far are:

looking at my food bill/cooking to see how I can save

applying to get random peoplr phoning me/sending me unwanted mail

applying for my credit history

getting an ironing board from freecycle

various recipes and advice I have not got around to

deciding i am best staying with the pension I have than changing!!

reading all the posts is now becoming addictive!!!

Have you got Martins Book... it is very helpful and provides lots of money saving general rules...I think combining the book, the budget planner and reading the tips mail keeps me on top of pretty much everything... also flirting with the forums when I have spare time/need some advice is great.. all hail MSE

I think you have done really well Mrs Baggins to be actually thinking about saving as I personally ended up spending more than saving to begin with as I just couldn't resist the bargins, so well done you :j
