It's 2 I think. It said don't count the ones that fly out.

I answered 5. I assumed they meant the ones flying out of the machine on 'What are they?' I may have been wrong though.

Edit: Balls. That'll teach me to read things properly! Ah well.

I think it's 5, but not sure cos are they just 'hovering' rather than 'flying'?
