I went for 8 I refreshed the page and move a tiny bit to the right which revealed the 3 behind him jumping making 8

Nah, but you move right because the questions talks about the homepage, and those extra sheep on the right are part of the home page. That's the way I see it.

It's just the ones on the homepage that we need for this question, theres eight of them, one large one to the left of him, 3 really small ones behind him, 3 small ones to the right and one small one to the far right
