were so far away from the exchange that our interent is slower than Dial up but BT wont let us have dial up!

Thanks very much for posting, sweetiepie1982, I hope you have some luck with this comp as well.

I can understand the frustration with 1st, 2nd, 3rd, 4th place etc. As I said, try Google Chrome , if you can. It's much faster. My computer isn't particularly fast, but I guess broadband is a must for this comp.

I think the next answer will be 'Fibre'!

I had a reply back. They were very helpful and took my address details, and said someone will be in touch shortly to arrange a delivery.:)

Thanks to everyone for their congrats. You really are a very welcoming bunch on MSE. I've only been a member of this forum for a week or two, but already I find myself compelled to visit everyday!
