Help with holiday to Sorrento!

Going to a friend's wedding on Fri 27th Aug 2010 at the Grand Hotel Cocumella, Sorrento, Italy. I have a couple of quotes as follows and wonder if anyone can better them please.

2 Adults & 3 Children (12, 10 & 3)
Flying from Manchester 23rd Aug for 7 nights
Settimocielo Hotel B&B 2 x twin rooms
£2728 uninsured
£2776.99 insured

2 Adults only
Flying from Stanstead 25th Aug for 4 nights
Hotel Caravel B&B Standard room
£990.00
Coop Holidays

Can't decide whether to go with or without kids (6 or 7 nights if with kids)
Would prefer to be a little closer to Cocmella than the Settimocielo. Ideally need to be there a couple of days before wedding.
Live in Nottingham if it helps for flights.

Please help as need to book soon!

Does the hotel provide a bath with gold taps ?

I went to sorrento 4 years ago and it was something like £300 each inc flights, stayed in a different hotel though,

its not far from metropole to Grand Hotel Cocumella, taxi would be cheap

hotel we stayed at was hotel metrople and it was done via thomson or direct holidays

Stay in Capri and get the boat over for the wedding! ;-)

Book the flights and hotel separately - Ive been looking at Sorrento and the prices are much less than those you quote and in a 4 star hotel, half board with balcony and sea view and taxi return to Naples airport. Try Thomas Cook online
