Sold 3 items of clothing. In all 3 payment emails it states "seller protection: not eligible"
1st and 3rd addresses are confirmed addresses
2nd address is unconfirmed.
Do I post or not? So confused.

If an address is confirmed or not makes no difference anymore its not a requirement (it changed 2 years ago) All that matters is if it says seller protection eligable with the tick. That only also matters if your sending your items tracked so want the paypal protection. If its a cheap item and your just using proof of postage for any claims of loss it makes no difference
Have you checked directly in your transaction details with paypal as there have been some problems reported

If you need the seller protection to be eligable. The buyers will need to try and confirm there details with paypal. Just to say some international destinations are never eligible.0 -
I would send the item to the 1st and 3rd address but ask the buyer of the 2nd address if they can confirm that they do live there and why is the address showing up as unconfirmed.KarleyMarie wrote: »Sold 3 items of clothing. In all 3 payment emails it states "seller protection: not eligible"

If the item is cheap and not being sent tracked I'd post regardless. I rarely even bother checking.
I;m beginning to think that paypal might be glitchy, It was about 5 weeks ago that my long standing confirmed address suddenly went unconfirmed and not eligible, and i had to re verify my paypal account completely out of the blue even though nothing had changed.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. I think PayPal is having a funny turn at the moment too - I've suddenly fallen foul of the "21 day hold" on funds for no apparent reason. They deem him their worst enemy who tells them the truth. -- Plato0

Paypal systems are not operating properly (have been faulty since 27 May according to their email). They are sending emails out which have a warning in green of 'not eligible' however, if you log in, they will be 'eligible'. It is a fault they have and are aware of with their emails only. So go by the eligibility on the transaction itself. It is immaterial with regards the address, as others have said.0

Thanks again to theonly. I had a paypal email with exactly that on it. The transaction said eligible, but the email not. To make it worse, it's an Italian buyer. Fortunately under £45.0

This is part of the email they sent out 27 May....At this time there is an issue with the email-notifications showing as ineligible for seller protection, whereas the transaction details show
eligible for seller protection.
I would kindly advise you to focus on the transaction details and to ignore
the email notifications.
If the transaction details show the transaction to be eligible, it is
eligible for seller protection.
If the transaction details show the transaction to be ineligible for seller
protection, the transaction won't be covered by PayPal Seller Protection.
Our engineers are resolving this issue at the moment, but I could not give
you an exact timeframe when this issue, will be resolved.
We appreciate your patience and understanding regarding this matter, and
wish you continued success on PayPal.0
