esa doctors certificate & appeal

Hi,

I had a letter from JCP to say my doc certificate was due to run out, I phoned them to say that the certificate was for 2 months and they had taken it for 2 weeks. The lady said she would inform them and if there was a problem they would contact me, anyway, noone got in touch so I presumed all was ok. I got another letter stating my benefit had been stopped as my certificate had run out on 16/05. When I spoke to them apparently my certificate was for only 2 weeks, so I misread it, I got another certificate back dated from 16/05 and wondered if they will back date my payment, in the meantime I had a letter saying I failed my medical as of 25/05, I have appealed against this, do you think my money will be back dated from 16/05 or only from the date of the medical letter 25/05. Sorry this is a bit long winded.
