Who owns whom?

I'm doing a bit of a credit card shuffle with balance transfers to try to get the cheapest debt. As providers won't let customers do a balance transfers between cards owned by the same company, I need to work out who owns whom.

I think these are right ....

Bank of America .... owned by .... MBNA
Halifax ................. owned by .... HBOS
Barclaycard........... owned by .... Barclays (updated thanks)
Virgin .................. owned by ..... MBNA
Tesco ..................owned by ..... RBS (updated thanks)

so I couldn't do a bank transfer from Bank of America to Virgin, but could from Barclaycard to Virgin (for example).

Can anyone confirm or contradict who owns whom (or add any others if people are interested)?

ETA - just found this http://www.stoozing.com/cards.php that lists them all

    Thanks :)

Those are the only ones I need to know but you could keep them coming in case anyone else is interested (I'll update the OP).
