To be honest I am disgusted at the way SOME people abuse mobility cars, and I am a firm believer that they should ALL be painted that ood blue that they were in the 70's. There is a woman (able bodied) who earns an excellent salary <as does her better half> but the 'mobility car' that she uses for work every day is a range rover!!! Yes, she may move someone less fortunate as ourselves around in it, but a Range Rover, come on!!!!“Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?”

Yeah I do find it ridiculous you can get pretty much any car you want on Motability if you pay a deposit.0 -
Might be worth starting with the motability website.
Are you aware that the car would use up your incapacity allowance so you would have less money to live on.
The car needs to be maintained and kept in good condition.
Having a motability car also excludes you from receiving free (car based) transport to hospital as you now have your own transport available.
I would have a look at the motab site and check out eligibility and costs before thinking about the colour.
Best deals are ususally Ford or Vauxhall as they use it as a loss leader to dump the excess stock they have produced.
Thats not true, I know many people with motability cars that use ambulances for hospital travel and if it were true then anyone with any car should be excluded from ambulance travel.
Ambulance travel is reserved for certain people dependant on health and not because you choose to exchange you high rate mobility award for a car.0
