cannot afford to meet monthly minumum or transfer balance

Hello there. I have a credit limit of £6500 on a Llloyds Credit Card. My current balance is at £6800 and I'm unable to meet the minimum monthly payments. My credit score is too low to open another account and transfer the balance so I'm stuck with Lloyds.
My main aim is to get into work and get this paid off as soon as possible for fear of putting my credit score beyond repair. What should I do in the meantime?
Close the account and agree small repayments with Lloyds?
Or try and borrow the money from friends / family to make the payments? I'd rather not have to do this but if it's significantly better than closing the account I'll consider it.
Please help. Your thoughts and advice are much appreciated.
