You're right, I was getting a tad defensive.

If anything (going by what you and I have done) it is really scary how many of these companies can potentially scam people and the man I found and his company I think were one of the unlucky ones. I think there are tons of other scam companies who people don't know about, people send the odd £20 off cos it looks legit and it's only if enough people complain and the scam company get busted on internet etc then they're named and shamed.

Too many people are parted from their cash otherwise.
