Autoglass shambles

I booked online for a replacement windscreen with Autoglass and they agreed to do the job tomorrow.They rang me and confirmed this and all seemed ok.An hour later their local branch rang and said they did not have the parts and it could be months before they get them, meanwhile Autoglass have charged my credit card and no doubt billed my insurance company. I have an Mot booked next week so it looks like I will be walking tfn.

Call your Insurer. They may be able to push things along, particularly as an inability to sort things out could result in a loss of business and bad publicity for both companies.
