If you take paypal they do all the conversion on the buyers side so you get the full sterling amount as per the auction less usual paypal fees. All the charges and loss due to exchange rate fluctuation are borne by the buyer.
All you need to do is send an invoice in sterling as per your auction (I am assuming the auction was on ebay.uk) and the buyer clicks pay and he pays you sterling but paypal take it from him in Euros.
I often buy things from the States and there is no differenc ein the way paypal operates. I get the invoice, or go through checkout, click on pay by paypal and it tells me the total is say $22 and that they will take £11 (or whatever) from my credit card, I click confirm, my credit card is debited with £11 and the sellers paypal account is instantly credited with $22 less paypal standard percentage fees..

Taney, make sure that when you do recieve the payment that the seller has a confirmed addres, otherwise you will not be covered by the seller protraction, and also ensure that you send by a method that can be tracked online.0

If you mean the Paypal seller protection, then I don't think he will be covered what ever he does as Paypal only cover UK/USA/CANADA. He will only be covered by ebay and the the most he could get back is £105doingwhatican wrote:Taney, make sure that when you do recieve the payment that the seller has a confirmed addres, otherwise you will not be covered by the seller protraction, and also ensure that you send by a method that can be tracked online. If freedom is outlawed, only outlaws will have freedom.0
