Which Account Can I Have?

Hi all,
I am in the process of sorting my finances (Very messy) and think I need a better bank account. I currently have a Natwest Advantage Gold account which is pants! The interest on borrowing is sky high and the account charges are unbelievable!!
Problem is, I have a £1600 overdraft which I am in and need and my credit history is poor. If I were to change I would still need this overdraft. Would I be able to find a good account that will give me this overdraft?
Any help would really be appreciated.
Thanks,
BIG Mac.

Try Alliance and Leicester or Nationwide (in that order) for your new account. As for the present time -
How long have you had your current account?
Do you know it appears on your credit reports?
How many credit cards do you have, what is the limit and how much credit has been used?
Are you employed and if so what is your annual salary?0 -

Hi, thanks for your comments.
1) I've had my current acc for over 7 years now,
2) I had no idea it shows on my credit reports,
3) I have 3 credit cards, the limit between them is £1300 but they are maxed out at the moment,
4) I am full time employed earning £12,500 a year.
Thanks,
