Condenser tumble dryer

I was thinking of buying one of these and putting it in the spare bedroom. Do they make the room steamy and I assume you dont have to vent them (is that what condenser means)?

Has anyone got one and how long do they take to dry a mixed load of washing?

We normally open the window a crack when we have it on, also when I moved it from my last house, I noticed it had damaged the carpet a bit so it's a good idea to put it on an old scrap of carpet to protect the good one

i have had one of these and it might have been a faulty one but it was Krap from start to finish If you have space in your spare room by the window get a standard one and put the hose out of the window.

Just remember that a conser tumble dryer has to use electricity to run a chiller unit(condenser) atthe same time as a heater unit which cost more

Just get a normal tumble dryer and put vent pipe out of window! Much cheaper to buy and run than condenser type.

Mine is fab. Doesn't steam room up at all. It is a whirlpool AWZ 650. Much better than my last 'normal one'.
