How about using 2 packets of chicken noodles. Add some cooked ham half way through. I use Bernard Mathews wafer thin turkey ham cut up. When noodles are cooked i then add some tinned sweetcorn. Tastes great and very simple to do. Also very filling. When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile0

1 Can tuna (drained)
1 can Cambells condensed mushroom soup.
1 can sweetcorn drained
Mix all together, only add a little water (re:-the condensed soup) warm.
*can add a drained can of mushrooms,
*can fry off an onion first in the oil drained from the tuna, before adding all of the other ingredients.
*can serve the sweetcorn separately, warmed in its own liquid from the can0 -
tuna and white bean salad...

can of white beans ( lidl have fagioli for about 23p)
sping onions or red onions
olive oil

Mix together and serve. Yum...cheap and delish no cook dinner. I had this for dinner last night and used fresh tuna steaks...even nicer!

MFG - try checking out this website - it's aimed at people who camp/caravan etc. but if you have a browse through the forums you should find plenty of ideas - they're really friendly over there (just like this place....
) and if you explain your predicament, I'm sure you'll get loads of pratical ideas. This is a link straight to the forums over there.

One idea I know of, is to freeze some of your milk just before you go, and put it in your freezer box (hoping you have one!?) along with the food/drinks you want to keep chilled. It helps keeps the contents of the freezer box cold, and eventually defrosts to be used.
Oh, and the disposable BBQs that eveyone's trying to get rid of at the moment would be really handy if you have somewhere to put them !!
One BIG thing - NEVER, EVER be tempted to cook inside your tent - it takes seconds for them to go up in flames, and the chances of getting anything (or anyone !!) out before it takes hold does not bear thinking about !!! :eek:0
