Does anyone know of a source of wooden worktop edging for laminate worktops?
The effect that you get with laminate edging tape is less than desired (and suscepitble to chips) and the metal ones just look rubbish.
Cheers

Sorry don't know of anyone - they've gone right out of fashion. The reason being that, after three or four years, the timber edging starts to look really naff.
Most of us are continually wiping our worktops and the lacquer on the wood just can't stand up to it. After a few years it starts to wear away and peel off ... whilst the rest of the kitchen might still look fine.
I'd go for the acrylic/plastic edging every time ... it's very much tougher ... but you need it to be applied by the manufacturer or by someone who knows what they're doing.
Here's an IKEA one:
