Recover Data - Please Help!!!

I have a Nokia N95, and accidentally deleted an important photo (it was actually of the whiteboard at college with important working outs!). I googled to see if I could retrieve it, and some helpful soul posted that you could recover it by typing *#7370# - no it didn't work - that was a complete factory reset  I've now got nothing - no contacts, photos, calendar entries etc etc
Is there anything I can do to restore this data?
Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )
Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)

I'm guessing the picture was on an SD card?
If so put the card in a card reader on a PC and run Recuva on it. That may well get your pictures etc. back.

No, I don't have an SD card - just a sim card.Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0

Hope I'm right in this - the 8GB version had the built-in memory as default with no expansion card slot. If you've done a factory reset then it's highly unlikely that you could recover via normal means but I stand to be corrected on this.
Good luck though!0 -
It has a slot for a card - just no card in it. I think it is the 8gb version.Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0

Is the phone black or silver?
Either way, all is not lost and the photos should be able to be restored, a normal memory recovery software, like Easeus data recovery should be able to do the job, you will need to plug the phone into to PC and select mass storage, then run the software and it will recover everything that has been deleted, although im not about numbers but the pictures will definatly be recovered
Easeus is not a free piece of software but im sure people on here will be able to direct you to a similar application that is free,:beer:0 -
Use Recuva like I suggested earlier after mounting the phone as mass storage. Should do the the trick. It's my problem, it's my problem

How do I mount the phone as mass storage? I've attached the phone to the pc via it's lead.Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0

When you plug the phone into the PC it should come up with 4 options on the phone screen, 1 is mass storage, or it may say data transfer:

Ah thanks - it says "no memory card available. Unable to activate data transfer mode" guess that's it then. Thanks for all your help.Squares knitted for my throw ~ 90 (yes!!! I have finally finished it :rotfl: )Squares made for my patchwork quilt ~ 80 (only the "actual" quilting to do now :rotfl:)0

If you install Nokia PC suite, won't that then let you look at what's on the phone instead of selecting Data Transfer?0
