Attention all electricians! I need to get hold of an MK 5940s TYPE 2 40 amp mcb(circuit Breaker) It has the designation M6 on it. It is NOT the old Siemens type with the toggle(switch) inset, mine is the later model with the flat face. Apparently, MK stopped making these some time ago and I don't want to change the whole board. If anyone has any MK TYPE 2's available, I would appreciate it greatly.I was told that the Hager mcb's will fit - can anyone confirm this.I have tried fleabay, but no joy yet. I doubt anyone will have any new ones but used will be great. Cheers all.

......or failing that, take it to your local electrical wholesaler and and they may be able to recommend a compatible replacement.
Look it up in Yellow pages, companies like Edmundsons have a national chain of outlets.0 -
Hi markee, many thanks but yet again they are TYPE B'S and will not fit the CU. As they are no longer made by MK I think that it has to be a second hand one from an electrician or someone who has swopped the CU for a new one. Please keep looking!0

Have a look at Ebay item: 180513057153
Don't know whether it will fit but may be worth a gamble.
