Moving - taking light fittings.. what do I leave for buyer ??

Agree. I was instructed by the OH to take all the fittings down (the purchasers didn't want them ... no taste!) on the last move. Then she didn't want any of them at the new house:rolleyes:
But I did have a Delboy chandelier over the stairs .. would have gladly paid someone £15 to get that down, as it was a bit heavyIf you want to test the depth of the water .........don't use both feet !0 -
When we bought this house, we agreed that the vendor could take her wall lights with her. We didn't expect to find when we moved in wires sticking out of the wall everywhere with a bit of insulation tape on them! Not legal I think!0

Asda are doing really cheap wall lights and ceiling lights, so you may be able to replace your expensive ones with somthing cheaper, they are easy to fit and decent enough. Your buyers will probably want to replace what you have at some point anyway.0
