Thanks - it's annoying, but it's got me hooked.0

Me too - but it wastes so much comping time.0

Looking at previous months, there's a couple of clues I might have got. Does always seem that if you can't get the first one, you won't be able to progress.
And no, I haven't got anything for this month's yet!Aug 2009 - £50 McVities Comp
Aug 2010 - iPod Shuffle (Scotch tape comp) + Bangzo.com book (Carol Vorderman's detox)
April 2011 - Watford FC tickets

I want to think its a baby born on May 3rd.
Or something along these lines as I got, May + A yard = 3 foot.. May 3rd.
All I get is stuff about Gregogorian calenders etc.0 -
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marco_da_Gagliano
Was born on 1st May, 1582 (first year of Gregorian calendar)
No luck with "plus a yard" dates (3rd/4th may 1582, 1st may 1585)Aug 2009 - £50 McVities Comp

My first thought was that May plus a yard was an anagram of "May a yard" or "May Yard", but all that I came up with was "Day Army", so that got me nowhere.
I see on the site that there are other random clues posted from time to time, but they don't stay on there long. I decided to have a mooch round the site to see if I could see one today. (and I resolved to check back daily to see if I could see any) I had a look at the link "Advertise" at the bottom of the page and I see from this that "Our players are equally male and female and over the age of eighteen. They are well educated, have disposable incomes and a fair amount of spare time on their hands." That doesn't describe me at all LOL.
As places can pay to be included as part of the clue in Treasure Hunt, this could explain why in the last one, we had to find a shop in Lincoln, so I will bear in mind for this one that we could be looking for various businesses on the treasure hunt.0 -
Putting "boggy old road" into google gives one result, which leads to a page about "Parson’s Lane Tumulus".
Looking at the number of letters needed for the solution: 9, 5, 4, 3, 4, I noticed that that tumulus place was in the Yorkshire Dales. (9, 5)
But this may be steering us all in the wrong direction!Aug 2009 - £50 McVities Comp

I'm stumped..0

for "Made Doctor a Mother", I came up with Dr. a Ma or Drama. I wondered about a play about strippers, but couldn't find anything that helped by Googling.0

The Full Monty was a film about a group of ex steel workers from Sheffield who became strippers but I don't have a clue about a mother unless they are talking about Mother Shipton from Yorkshire who was a noted witch. If at first you don't succeed try, try, try again.
