Used BT and Talk Talk in the past, shall I again?

Prior to our house move a week ago, we had BT as our landline and used Talk Talk as our call router.

We were reconnected with BT yesterday but because of the move, our account with Talk Talk was canx but they said as soon as the BT line is up and running, to ring them and get reactivated.

Now I’m just wondering if this is still the best thing to do. Is Talk Talk still competitive for call routing or shall I just still with all my calls through BT?

I have a mobile which gives me free evening calls to land lines and mobiles so I really only need to use our BT line for day time calls but not too sure what to do for the best

Any advice greatly appreciated.

You'll be busy enough for a while anyway but I'd recommend you take time to consider options before deciding.

Have a read of Martin's full telephony article (link in my signature below) and of my own 'pick and mix selections' therefrom (the other link in my signature below).
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

aint that the truth! Thanks I'll do some research but just thought perhaps there was one particular call router that was preferred.

Primus Saver 2, link in Heinz sig in addition to 1899 and 18185. It would be wise to use more than one provider that way you can reduce your call costs down to next to nothing.
It's PAC not PAC Code, it's MAC not MAC Code, it's PIN not PIN Number, it's ATM not ATM Machine, it's LCD not LCD Display, it's DVD not DVD disc... It's no one not noone, It's a lot not alot, It's got not gotten... Panini is the plural of panino - there is no S!!

If you have a scan read through some of the threads in this particular forum, I think you'll quickly realise Talk Talk is not 'preferred' my some!
