Hello all
I currently have a one year travel card on my OnePulse credit card. I wish to cancel the credit card but have been told by TFL that it wouldn't be able to transfer the travelcard to a new oyster card. Would it be possible to cancel the credit card but continue using it as an Oyster card?
Thank you

not sure but I'd suggest asking them. if not, ask to reduce the credit limit to something ridiculous like £50, then cancel when the travelcard expires.0

I don't see why not as the credit card is entirely separate to the Oyster Card bit of it (i.e., if you cancel the credit card, it doesn't cease to exist - it only ceases to work as a credit card).0

My collegues at TfL tell me you should be able to continue using the card as the Oyster application is seperate on the RFID therefore it would continue to work. However I would suggest leaving it open until your current travel card expires. Just makes sense really. These are my thoughts and no one else's, so like any public forum advice - check it out before entering into contracts or spending your hard earned cash!
I don't know everything, however I do try to point people in the right direction but at the end of the day you can only ever help yourself!0
