Could someone please help with sending an item to the Channel Islands

I have just sold an item which I quoted £7.50 for RM 1st class recorded delivery (it would have cost £7.34 to UK). The buyer paid immediately.
When writing the labels out I realise they are in the Channel Islands & the RM website pricing guide says the price does not include the Channel Islands.
Could someone please tell me:
1) How do I find the correct price?
2) If it comes out to alot more then the £7.50 I charged where do I stand? The item didnt sell for a great deal, so I dont really want to have to pay the excess myself.
Thanks in advance.

First and second class are available at the same price for the Channel Islands, so you have no problem. Parcels are different rates.
You should put a customs label on although lots of people don't seem to bother.
Here's a page on the RM site

If its a light item under about 2.5kg the RM price is the same as the rest of the UK

If you know the UK price, you must have looked it up somewhere?0

Thanks for that, had a bit of a panic there!. All posted at £7.34 & customs label put on.
Yes I looked it up on the Royal Mail website, which specifically says prices do not include Channel Islands or Isle of Man.
I think Channel Islands/Jersey gets classed as International postage.0 -
Whilst Ch. Islands are not part of the UK, currently 1st and 2nd class postage is the same price as to the UK.0

Channel Islands use UK postal prices.
We've had to bloack all sales there because we print from Paypal and they don't seem to understand that (they have the CI as a non-UK destination, then get confused by the not needing international post prices thing).Back on MSE after a 5 year hiatus.
