I can google this on behalf of chicken-keeping friend, but would appreciate the first-hand input that msers generously give.

All the upsides/downsides of msers' personal experience are the aspects no articles/instructions can cover.

All tips, help, warnings will be very much appreciated.

Thankyou.

    I've been Money Tipped!
I bought an octagon 20 this year. stuck adozen eggs in. All hatched, no problems wht so ever. Had to keep an eye on humitidy towards the end, was a little fiddly but nothing too terrible. Having only used older self turn models there is no question for me this is better. Remembering to turn, not having adequate humidity guage etc was a nightmare.

Ultimately I'd not go back for me an easy self turning model or a broody hen.....the former more easily monitored the latter placing fewer demands on me.
