What is going on

Six years ago we had a new extensions built now we are seeing cracks appear in the corner's of the ceiling of the out wall in the bathroom these cracks are running between the ceiling and the wall tiles. They where never there before so we have filed these in we tile adhesive however the cracks have returned.

Some six months ago we have had a ongoing bathroom leak from the underside of the bath tap which is now repaired but this leak looks like it was leaking for some time. Since the repairs the floor boards which are the big square type have raised up in the middle of the bathroom which bow ans squeak when stood on these on inspection seemed never to have got wet but the beams that run under the flooring where it has raised up is where the leaky tap was. My question is what is going on and are the two problems related? and what can be done??
