Didn't have anything specific, just 'our' song which we kinda considered wasn't entirely suitable for a first dance - Alice Cooper's Poison

thinking of going for something like this
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/5-x-SKY-LANTERNS-KHOOM-FAY-WISH-BALLOONS-WHITE-/170458533416?cmd=ViewItem&pt=UK_Home_Garden_Celebrations_Occasions_ET&hash=item27b01ece28
although it depends on the weather but the hotel we have is right beside the water so i think if it's a clear night and not raining this would look really pretty and if we wanted to we can get the guests to write messages on the lanterns.
i'm still not 100% sure if we're going to do it but i really like the idea and will probably only get a few for me and the OH and some of the family to release.0 -

I've never actually been to a wedding where they've had a "finale" after the reception other than a "final dance" by the bride & groom.
No, neither have I.
Our final dance will be to the Proclaimers, 500 miles :rotfl:
That, and then hopefully the hokey cokey when we get up to our hotel room

Meant to say, fireworks, for a decent display are sooo expensive and I wouldn't entertain lanterns at the end of the night, not when people have been drinking, no way.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0

probably won't be at the end of the night anyway as so many people would be heading home, probably some time after the first few dances, before the evening buffet.
But the OP is talking about what people are having right at the end of the night, hence my thoughts on the lanterns.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
we'll be having the traditional 'loch lomond' by Runrig to finish0
