Digital Camera problems

Morning Folks,
I have recently returned from my holidays in Canada during which time i took around 340 photo's on my digital camera (using a 1GB SD Card).
However when i got home and loaded them onto my PC i was only able to view around 175 of them, the rest were just coming up with the dreaded red X.
I can still view all the photo's in my camera but not on my PC, does anyone have any ideas on how i can rectify this???
I've never had any problems in the past with any of the SD Cards i've used.
Cheers in advance
HB

Are you reading the SD card through a card reader, or attached to the camera? If through a card reader, have you instead tried connecting the camera to the PC?0

Yeah it was a card reader we used and it looks like the file has copied across but i just can't view them.
I'll try connecting the camera to the PC when i get home tonight and see if that works.

It may be that the card reader has a capacity limit. Let us know how you get on using the camera to computer. Blue text on this forum usually signifies hyperlinks, so click on them!..:wall:0

If still having probs take card down to Max spielman photolabs and try in there machine to see if you can view the files.
