Other providers for 0844 numbers

Hi

On BT can use another carrier for 0844 type numbers? Or is there a web tool that searches the cheapest options?

Thanks Murray

You dont have to use BT to provide you with a 0844 number to point at a BT 01/02 Geographical Number. Their are numerous other suppliers just Google.

Out of interest why do you want to use such a unpopular number to call.

BT is the cheapest carrier for calling 0843, 0844, 0871, 0872 and 0873 non-geographical numbers.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.

Okay cool. It's just because a telephone call cost checker I found didn't have other carriers listed for these types of calls. But if BT is the cheapest that's fine, thought I would check.
