Hi Slc worker and guys,
Hope you are well.....I am very stressed and I need some serious help with applying for my student Loan.
I am 23 years old Italian studying a full time Chinese course in London. I am about to start my second year and I am thinking about getting a student loan but am unsure about how much the interest will be for the year and what is the maximum amount I can get?
I look forward to your reply.
Regards,

What you may be entitled to through the student loan system is dependent on your personal eligibility, the course you are studying and your household income. For information on what you may be entitled to, have a look HERE
where you'll also find how to apply and the eligibility criteria.
Interest is calculated on a daily basis and at the moment it is 0% I think. This will go up in September. But you only start paying it back after you reach the earnings threshold of the country you are resident in, set by the Student Loans Company.0 -
Will you be assessed as a UK or an EU student? If you are classed as an EU student you are only eligible for the fee loan.0

Mind also mentioning where you were resident for the 3 years prior to the first year of the course, to help determine possible eligibility.0
