People are saying that new Twitter accounts were opened purely to pass on the ball - so one person was holding numerous accounts to lengthen their own (or someone elses) chain. Comet are looking into it apparently.

Well done everyone who took part in both forming and continuing chains! It was fun! I know I wasn't really around after Sunday, I work shifts and haven't been too well. But I enjoyed playing with you all on Sunday

i dont knwo, there was a whole lot of complaining form people int he chain that came second saying that eviljules had cheated. from what i can gather they say she created a second account or used someone elses account to pass the ball a second time ..no one would answer me as to how she was sposed to have cheated or whatever though so im not sure ive got it correct.

Someone sent her the ball on a diff chain and spelt her name wrong ie if you sent it to Ikkle87 instead of ikkle87 then tweetyuppy wouldnt let me log in to pass on so she changed her name to the spelling used and passed it on then changed her name back. Sounds like sour grapes because by carrying on they are doing nothing but upsetting people.

Isnt it funny how its the same people causing problems! Some people just cant stand losing. Congratulations to EvilJules, shes been so sweet, not even replying to the rude remarks. Some people need to remember that its only a game!

Hear hear! Even though it turned into the most frustrating game in the world when I couldnt get it to work for the last three days, really proud of our team effort. I think all of the chains in the top 4 were our lot. Well done everyone, shows what we can achieve when we work together.

I had fun. It was a challenge - something a bit different from the usual form filling comps.

Can I make a suggestion here. If anyone else hears of a similar comp that we might not otherwise find out about until it is to late to organise something, can they please PM me. I cannot think that we would be allowed to keep a list anywhere else, but perhaps we could start a list in this thread, where it is not going to upset anyone and in the same way as we had a list for passing the ball, perhaps we could pass the PM on to the next person on the list, that way, we could drum up a bit of interest from people who are really interested in investing the time into something that might be worthwhile, rather than those people who are only fleeting visitors.

What does anyone else think?

Good luck to anyone that was in the winning chain. I do hope that the runner up prize goes to an MSE'r.
