A few people seem to be nervous about joining in, because they don't know what to do. It is confusing, I took ages to be able to work out what to do, but I would say that since we have got days until the end date, we can have lots of practice runs for now and I don't mind starting any number of balls off that won't get past the first hurdle, if people just want to have a practice without feeling worried that they will break the chain. Once you have done it the first time, you will feel more at ease for future attempts. This way, we will soon build up the number of people willing to have a go when we give it a real push. What does everyone else think?

great idea marg2k8. we really need to get people on board and make a concerted effort to win this, it should be easy given the ammount of us. ive hit problems the last couple of days with findng people to pass to after 11pm ish. practice is very good, especially when people dont generally use twitter.

plus we need time to get us all following each other and for it to register that we are, as i had probs (as did bigzippy) getting it to allow to pass to someone i was newly following.

i suspect we need to start one at least of early ish in the day and pass to those of ud who ar enot at work/otherwise unavailable so we have a chain on the way iyswim when others come in and can be here for a couple of hours, as its going to be unpassable due to everyone going to bed.

im not here pretty much from 7ishpm this evening until some point on sunday evening. i would suggest sunday is a good day to try for it properly though as w/e means more people are around?

im going to make a concerted effort to round people up form my fb too lol, if we all practice today/tomorrow and all agree to be here on sunday afternoon/evening we could do this.

if we make a list, then come sunday (or other agreed day but this is last w/e since it ends on 16th) if people are not active in this thread we could pm reminders
