Wonder if anyone can help please.... when I try to work in Word 2007 I get the message "word could not create the work file. check the temp environment variable". This has only just started to happen, can't think I have done anything recently that may have caused trouble. I have tried to follow the help on MS help site, to no avail....

Has anyone got a bit of techy help they could give me?

This is where I found the ms link, I will try once more. Strangely enough my printer won't print this morning....tending to think this might be connected

how full is your hard disk?

Sounds like you need to empty your temp folder. Disk Cleanup under System Tools (XP). I think in similar place in Vista/win7

Strangely enough I have just "cleaned" my machine with defraggler and ccleaner as promoted on this site. I wonder if it has anything to do with that? My disk is fairly empty I recall noticing that when I ran the above 2 programs. How do I log on as administrator to do the Disk Cleanup?
