Help with an Egg card question please

Hi,

I am hoping someone can help me here please. I have just balance transferred 4k from my american express card to my standard egg card which has an interest free debt of 2.5k. Am I correct in saying that having a 1.5k positive balance on the egg card that it would be possible to withdraw it through a cashline for free?

Will my egg account accept this 4k in the first place? lol, yes am new to this.

Also I have just applied and been successful in gaining a egg money card with a 3k limit. Would it be possible to transfer the 1.5k to the egg money card for free through one of there operators as an example?

I wouldn't chance it, since they don't distinguish between +ve or -ve balances in their fee application - see Is there a fee for cash advances?. You could ring up and ask them to BACS transfer it to your current acount, but check it will be fee-free first.

Yes, they seem to allow +ve balances on the Egg Card.
